Dr. Al-Hinai holds advanced graduate degrees in applied sciences and engineering and has completed executive programmes at Harvard Business School, the University of California, Berkeley (Financial Planning & Analysis; ESG and Sustainable Capitalism), and the Royal Academy of Management in collaboration with IMD and Oxford University. Mohammed Al Naabi is an Issuances Analyst at the Financial Services Authority, where he has served for over three years. In this role, he has been instrumental in advancing regulatory reforms and contributing to the Green and Sustainable Finance agenda.

As part of this team, Mohammed played a key role in shaping the revised regulatory framework for bonds and sukuk, which notably included a dedicated section on green bonds and sukuk. He also led the development of the program’s strategic roadmap, informed by an extensive study of regulatory approaches in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Driven by a strong commitment to sustainability, Mohammed focuses on the design and implementation of forward-looking policies and regulations aimed at promoting sustainable finance and delivering long-term, positive impact within the financial sector.

David Haglund has extensive expertise in finance, accounting, strategy, and ESG, underpinned by deep experience in corporate governance and sustainability. His work spans in-depth analysis, valuation, and corporate strategy across multiple industries and geographies.

Previously, David spent nearly two decades at Franklin Templeton Investments as Senior Executive Director and fund manager, managing institutional mandates for regional and international sovereign wealth funds within institutional asset management, integrating ESG and fundamental research into investment decision and portfolio construction.

He is a former Non-Executive Director of Aramex, one of the MENA region’s largest publicly listed logistics companies, where he focused on strategy, risk management, ESG and sustainability, and corporate governance. He served on the Audit, Investment & Growth, and Nomination & Remuneration Committees.

David is a founding Steering Committee member of Chapter Zero UAE, an initiative affiliated with the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative, which equips boards to address climate- and sustainability-related risks and opportunities.

He holds certifications including the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance, Hawkamah Director Certification, CFA Institute Certificate in Climate Risk, Valuation & Investing, CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, and a Harvard University Diploma in Audit Committees in a New Era of Governance.
